Born: 09-10-1942
Education: From 1959 until 1964 The Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague. Later lessons at the Free Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague and received a teachers degree in Fine Arts.
Exhibitions: In the Gemeente Museum of The Hague, in Gallery Pulchri Studio The Hague and in the Gallery of The Hague Art Circle and in numerous other museums and galleries in The Netherlands and abroad.
Commissions: Several, including illustrations for the Dutch IKON Television, illustrations for a jubilee publication of The Library of Voorburg and illustrations for a bibliophile publication of ‘Animal Farm’ of George Orwell, published by De Roos Utrecht.
Three triptychs for the Koningkerk church in Voorburg.
Prizes: The Hofwijck Junior Prize 1973 of the Council of Voorburg.(nowadays called The Albert Termote Prize).
Memberships: The Art Circle of The Hague 1970-1990; Pulchri Studio The Hague since 1973; ArtiBrak Leidschendam-Voorburg since 1978.
Work is in possession of: The Councils of The Hague and Leidschendam-Voorburg , The Royal Dutch Post, The Dutch IKON Television Company, The NIMETO school in Utrecht and can be found in both private and corporate collections in The Netherlands, Italy, The Czech Republic, England, France and the USA.
